The most beautiful dresses coming in hot.
I started my relationship with The White Room MPLS in late April of 2016 when I was shopping for my dream dress.
Before I get into this, I should start by saying I am naturally drawn to the most expensive items. From jars of salsa to wedding dresses, it doesn’t matter what is it, I can’t help myself. I wouldn’t consider myself high maintenance, although my family would probably disagree.
I found a beautiful Pronovias dress the very first place I visited, not the one I would wear on my wedding day, but one that I did buy. It had lace from top to bottom with an illusion top, and I was in love. But I couldn’t just stop there, I had to soak in the experience of wedding dress shopping, so my next stop was The White Room MPLS. I walked in and was instantly greeted with open arms, hugs and warm smiles. I immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. And of course, I fell in love with every single dress.
No, seriously. Every. Single. ONE.
Until I came across yet another Pronovias with lace, and an illusion top. Sound familiar? Except this one was on steroids compared to the last Pronovias. I had never felt so beautiful, I didn’t think it was possible to actually have that, “wow this is my dress” moment.
Then I looked at the price tag – OF COURSE, I picked the most expensive one. Who is shocked? Anyone? Bueller?
So I took a deep breath, went back to the first bridal shop and bought the first Pronovias dress. Was I still excited? Of course, it was so beautiful and I couldn’t have been more thankful to have it. Fast forward 8 months and I still couldn’t get my dream dress at The White Room out of my mind. I would have sleepless nights thinking of this dress, I even cried over this stupid dress.
OK, maybe I am a little high maintenance.
I started looking for things in my wedding that I really needed vs. wanted. My guests didn’t need a happy hour after the wedding with tiny little food and tiny little drinks. I thought of any possible way to save money just to spend it on this dress.
I went back to The White Room with only three months until my wedding hoping that it wasn’t too late to still order it. I put that sweet, sweet Pronovias on and it was like I was reunited with my best friend. So I made it mine – hallelujah.
Wow, the more I talk the more I see how dramatic I am.
Carmen and Anne are two of the most hard working, genuine souls you’ll ever meet. They made me feel at ease knowing that my dress would be delivered and altered in no time, and they did not disappoint. I am forever grateful for their positive spirits and knowledge with everything bridal and truly serving their brides.
Moral of the story: Don’t settle on wedding dresses – money comes and goes – and you should shop at The White Room.
I was thrilled when they asked me to be apart of their White Album Vol. III – featuring all real brides from their studio in Downtown Minneapolis. How could I say no to wearing pretty dresses again? – Impossible.
Their idea of asking real brides that they had the opportunity to know and connect with to be apart of this was incredibly creative, real, and unique. I love how they presented their dresses in a relatable way, it’s something women can feel excited about.
Here are some of their beautiful dresses all found at The White Room MPLS.
