I enjoyed this beautiful and very hot day by spending it outside doing a full body circuit. Find yourself a bench, table, chair, ledge, even the edge of your bed (there’s really no excuse) and do this along with me!
Simple exercises that work, you don’t have to be fancy to get a great workout. Have fun!!
HIIT Workout
Chair Squat -30 reps
Sit all the way down and back into the chair or bench you’re using. Push through your heels to stand up, and squeeze your glutes at the top. Sitting down opposed to just squatting forces you to use your glutes and legs in correct posture.
Back straight, neck neutral, and squeeze the bootay.
Incline Push Up -20 reps
Single Leg Step Ups -15 reps each leg
Step up with one leg at a time
With opposite leg, bring up to chest and squeeze your abs
Switch Legs -15 reps
Tricep Dips -30 reps
Keep your butt close to the bench and go down all the way to 90 degrees
Cross Body Climbers – 30 reps (15 per each side) or 30 seconds as fast as you can
Bring knee to opposite elbow and squeeze your abs
Get your heart rate up!
Split Squats -15 reps each leg
Keep your chest out and make sure your knee isn’t going over your toes
Box Jumps -25 reps
If this is too hard, do one leg at a time (just like single leg step ups) challenge yourself!
Repeat this circuit 3-4x. I would recommend 4x! With 60-90 seconds between each round. This should be quick bursts of exercise and should only take 30-35 minutes! Grab a friend and do it on the opposite side of a picnic table together. 🙂
Working out should be enjoyable! Get some fresh air and enjoy.
On the road this weekend & this was PERFECT. Just what I needed with no equipment but a great sweat. Thank YOU!
SO glad to hear! Thank you for sharing! 🙂
