February: the month I said goodbye to my long hair. The hair that has been with me since day one. Give or take a couple of years. Can we all appreciate the big move I made?!
I was so attached to my hair.
With my long hair, I didn’t have to touch it for it to be cute. I could throw it up – good to go. Straight from the shower – fine. With short hair, I feel like there’s so much work involved. I’m exhausted. The ends are flipping out in every direction and I see why people with short hair have a hard time growing it out. You have to do something with it. You have to put heat to it. Two things of which I rarely did.
Ugh, who has time for that? Can anyone relate?!

I don’t hate my hair, I just don’t know if I’ll ever cut it again. So I started doing my hair and I want to share two products that are killing the game. Making me feel that even with short hair, I’m still working it, you know what I’m saying?
ORIBE Dry Texturizing Spray
Not only does this stuff smell SO good, it gives you that messy, effortless look with texture and volume. I have thinner hair so this is the best thing to happen to me since February 1, 2017.
Seriously, If I could spray this in my armpits and use it as perfume, I would.
Another hair product that has given me volume and life is Kerastase Mouse
This gives my hair that bounce. I love it because I can put it in my hair after a shower and it never leaves my hair crunchy or sticky. It dries soft and I feel like I just got out of the salon.
I think it’s time for a manicure. Just don’t look closely.
If you’re looking to step up your hair game, I would definitely recommend starting here. I’m not big on hair products but I can actually see and feel a difference with these two beauties.
Let me know if you have any go-to hair products you would recommend! I would love to try new things.
Have a great day, friends!
