DETOX!
Hi, hello, hey, how are ya?
As I mentioned in my ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’ post, I ate gooooood last week. I had all the goodies and I didn’t regret it. However, I didn’t just eat junk. I had my nutritious meals and of course, my nearly 2 gallons of water every day. That’s something to remember.
It’s very important to enjoy yourself but even more important to get back on track. Think of it as incorporating your favorite foods into your daily health. You should never deprive yourself but always make sure to get right back into eating to fuel your body. And when you eat something processed or unhealthy, don’t let that determine your entire day. Have the cookie then move on. I see a lot of people using that as an excuse to then eat junk for the rest of the day. Keep in mind that one cookie is not going to hinder your progress but ten cookies probably, most definitely will.
You can often find me with a fresh juice in one hand, and a donut in the other.
So with that said, I need a little re-boost! I don’t know about you but I need a little swift kick back into reality. So today I made my Detox Green Juice. Full of the good stuff!
Spinach – Celery – Apples – Cucumbers
You don’t need to have a million different things going on. Keep it simple and keep it tasty. All these ingredients are well under $20 and both Jon and I had a juice a day for one week. We get everything at Costco – which I highly recommend.
Juice is immediately absorbed so this is the perfect way to wake up. Have this alongside lemon water and your day is set up for success.

This juice is super refreshing. The apples add the perfect amount of sweetness. I promise you the power of a juice is similar to a shower after a night of too much wine. You feel me?
Almost Friday, hang in there.
Just when I thought March Madness was over, the NBA playoffs started and I find myself in the corner of the living room scratching at my eyeballs. Someone, please save me.
all my love,
This is also one of my favorite juice recipes!!
so good!! thank you for reading, Lee!
