Happy Sunday! I hope you got out of the house and enjoyed this beautiful weekend we had.
There is something about sunny days and smoothies that just go hand in hand. I kept this one simple and sweet – I even kept the spinach out.
Weird, I know. If you’ve had my Almond Butter Bark and enjoyed it, you’re going to LOVE this smoothie.
Lately I haven’t been hungry right when I wake up, which is strange because I’m the person that will wake up in the middle of the night because I’m starving. I know that I need to have something in my body to start my metabolism and “break the fast” aka breakfast. Before I make my actual meal, I start my day with this Protein Smoothie. It contains protein and healthy fats which is exactly how you want to start your day.
CHEERS!

TIPS: I like to blend mine for a longer time, even if it appears all the banana chunks are blended, it gives a really nice creamy consistency. When bananas are ripe, peel and throw them in a zip lock bag, or container and place in the freezer. This allows easy access when it’s smoothie time. When I say 1-2 tbsp or tsp, it’s because I use a regular kitchen spoon — no one has time to measure exactly. I promise you, no matter the amount, this smoothie will be so good regardless.
Talk soon!
all my love,
