A Monday morning smoothie bowl, Jesus and a Nespresso latte. I can’t think of many things better than that.
I never really understood the point of Acai Bowls. Why are we eating smoothies with a spoon? Well here I am, eating a smoothie with a spoon, and I like it. This smoothie bowl doesn’t have Acai, whatever that is. Hence the reason I call it a smoothie bowl instead of an Acai bowl. It does have:
banana + goji berries + blueberries
Three things I’m very much in to. I bought my goji berries at HomeGoods. They actually have the best organic, gluten free snacks, oils, jams, cookies, all the things.
What are Goji Berries?
Besides being delicious they:

You can add goji berries on top of a salad, in smoothies, or snack by the handful.
Strawberries would also be really great in this, but I didn’t have any on hand. That’s another cool thing about smoothie bowls, you throw in whatever you have at home and call it day. Acai bowls are also very expensive. I’m kind of over paying for things I can easily make at home. I also made homemade cashew butter today, stick around for that creamy goodness. I don’t recommend eating only a bowl of fruit for breakfast. Along with this smoothie bowl, which is high in carbs (nothing you should ever shy away from – carbs are energy), I also had a couple of eggs for healthy protein and fat.
P.S. Eat your egg yolks, I swear if you argue with me about that, I will win.
