I know what you’re thinking.
“Kaitlyn, weren’t you the one that said putting smoothies in a bowl just doens’t make sense?”
YES, okay. I did and maybe I still do believe that but hear me out.
When I spend all my time drinking liquids I feel as if I’m depriving myself, leaving me on a straight liquid diet. By putting smoothies in a bowl It forces me to use a spoon and it makes me feel like I’m eating something instead of drinking it.
Like, a straight juice cleanse is my worse nightmare.
I can sense your head shaking and frowning but it works for me, you should try it! Plus, smoothies in a bowl are cuter for Instagram.
Now that I’ve confused us all, let’s get into this Blueberry Smoothie Bowl!
I love using frozen fruit for smoothies because of the consistency it brings. So what’s in this masterpiece?
Frozen Blueberries
Chickpeas
Banana
Canned Coconut Milk
Coconut Water
On a hot day, this smoothie is screaming in my face, “IT’S SUMMER GIRLFRIEND, EAT ME”
Enjoy, xo.

I ate this alongside a protein shake which was one scoop of protein powder mixed with some water for added protein in the morning. Or you could have hard boiled eggs!
If you make this, let a girl know! Talk soon.
What to do with leftover chickpeas? Make my Roasted Chickpeas
What to do with leftover coconut milk? Make my Chia Seed Pudding
