Happy New Year!
I think it’s really easy to look back at the year behind us and remember all the things that went wrong or didn’t go our way. Everywhere you look there’s a political or negative post. And I’m bored of that.
There’s been a lot of incredibly awful and beautiful things to happen in 2016 for me and us all. I’m going to choose to direct my attention towards the positive and celebrate. I got engaged, I bought a condo, I traveled more than I ever have, I learned, I grew, I changed, I started this blog. 🙂 And I’m thankful.
And 2017 is off to a great start. I got married to my love in Mexico with our friends and family! And had an extraordinary honeymoon in St. Lucia. With all the travel I’ve done recently I’ve gathered the essentials of traveling. For example, I don’t need an entire suitcase for just shoes. I really don’t. But one thing I could definitely use more of is chargers. So when I found this one from LuLu’s I freaked out.
Because it’s white marble.
And the cutest little thing you’ll ever see!
Perfect for on the go and perfect for when your curled up on the couch and don’t have an outlet in sight. Perfect for on your desk!!!!!
Just perfect, isn’t it?!
You know what isn’t perfect? Chlorine pools mixed with long hair. Does anyone know what happens?
Bueller? Anyone?
A catastrophe. That’s what.
I was sitting helplessly in Mexico after a day of swimming and fun! As I ran my hands through my unwashed hair, they came to a crashing halt at the back of my head. It was then that I knew my hair would never be the same. I ran to my luggage, I ripped it open, clothes and sand flying everywhere… And there is was. My Wet Brush
OK, I can almost guarantee that was the strongest introduction that a hairbrush has ever had.
But i’m not even being that dramatic.
This brush saved me a lot of pain and a lot of hair. There’s something very different about it that puts every other hair brush to shame. This brush makes life so much easier. It doesn’t pull at your head down with every stroke. It’s gentle and strong at the same time.
It’s the little things
This month was consumed with wedding fun and nothing else really phased me. I tried a couple other products that were maybe worth sharing a “January don’t-ever-use-ever-in-your-lifetime-ever” post. Thoughts?!?!?!?
I hope you’ve started 2017 with a thankful heart and a Wet Brush!
Talk soon.
all my love,
I love the Wet Brush! With the dry air this Winter and probably from wearing sweaters and coats, my hair matted up in the back like a dread lock! I had no idea how to make it stop. I bought a Wet Brush and no more matting!! It goes through my wet thick hair very easily. I’m not sure how it fixed my problem but it did. My Granddaughter also has very think hair. She loves her Wet Brush!!
So happy you tried it. It’s the little things.
