Hola!!
Como estas, estoy tan contenta de que estes aqui!
That’s, “how are you, I’m so glad you’re here!” in Spanish. I definitely googled that. But I’m excited!! We get married in a few short weeks in Mexico! But, really, I am so glad you’re here.
December has been quite the month. We closed on our first condo, and I’m trying to lock in the finishing touches for our wedding & honeymoon. All good stuff, of course!
Both Jon and I knew right away we wanted to do a destination wedding. It’s so intimate, just close family and friends. A wedding is a celebration, not a show. I don’t need to host 300 of our closest strangers. We wanted simple, beautiful, memorable, special, and warm.
Mexico it is!
more on our wedding here
But if you know me you know that I’m slightly more pale than most. And while that’s perfectly fine any other day of the week, It’s not fine on my wedding. I wanted a glow and in my opinion being tan makes everything better. A couple of months leading up to my wedding I’ve been trying Glow Pro Tans.
I’ve never used self tanner before but I could not fathom tanning in a bed and paying to slowly but surely ruin my young and beautiful skin, or as my friend McCall likes to call it, princess skin.
And I couldn’t agree more – thank you, McCall.
This stuff is almost too easy to apply and one of the best things I could do for my self-esteem.
How you prepare your skin before putting this on will effect how long it lasts. About a week and a half is normal. Exfoliating your skin and shaving is a must beforehand. One bottle is less than going to get one spray tan.
So, I’m a fan.
Round of applause for healthy & glowing skin!
Next on my list of December favorites is Tea Tree Oil
I’ve been using Tea Tree Oil to clear my skin, as needed, for about 8 months.
December brought a lot of stress.
Let’s just simplify this and say I got my first ever cold sore this month.
Along with my cold sore came a great deal of breakouts. So I would like to personally take a moment and thank this amazing essential oil for saving my skin weeks before my wedding.
Its uses go beyond clearing skin. Tea tree oil as an ingredient in some face products, but I found that taking it straight to the face is best.
I dab some of this on the breakout and leave over night. By morning, 8 times out of 10, It’s gone.
And those are pretty good odds!
I found this at Whole Foods but you can pick it up online or at any health store. It’s on the spendy side, but well worth it and lasts forever or until the bottle is gone. 🙂
Now, this little gem I picked up has blessed my skin. It’s like green juice for your face. And what’s better than that?
It’s packed with spinach and kale. Superfoods! Ya!
This Youth To The People serum is perfect for any skin type and any age. I apply to my face each night before bed. This is definitely not cheap but if you invest in your skin, make it the good stuff.
Have you tried any new product you want others to adore as well!? Leave it in the comments.
Ok, back to planning. Talk soon!
all my love,
