Until I see snow on the ground I will continue making smoothie bowls. I LOVE fall and everything that comes with it. I feel it in the air lately and soon smoothies will be a thing of the past.
This smoothie bowl is loaded with sweet fruit to wake you right up and alongside cauliflower and chickpeas, it’s the perfect combination, my friend!
Blended to perfection and topped with even more fun goodies, you can’t go wrong.
Frozen cauliflower makes this thick and creamy but I promise you can’t taste it. I used riced cauliflower because I had it in my freezer but you can use cauliflower florets as well.
Make sure to drain and rinse your chickpeas prior to putting them in your smoothie. With the left over chickpeas you can make Roasted Chickpeas which are an amazing crunchy and salty snack to kick chips to the side. Chickpeas also have protein and will keep you nice and full.
You don’t have to put this in a bowl, you can make it for breakfast or a snack, put it in your glass jar and take it to work on the go! Protein Powder can be added as well, but it could throw it off depending on what flavor you have. You can sip on a scoop of protein with water alongside your smoothie for added protein in your day.
