Let me start you off with this.
Dairy is the best thing ever. If I could sprinkle cheese on every food I eat, I would.
Milk is made for babies. Babies from every mammal on planet earth. Human flesh & fur.
What do we give children to beef them up a little bit? To help them get bigger?
A tall glass of thick, cloudy water with breakfast, lunch & dinner.
And what does it give you?
What do we give calves, kitties, puppies to make them big cows, cats, and dogs?
Listen, after these species are no longer babies, they cannot digest milk
Do you give your grown-ass dog milk for breakfast? No, you give him real food.
Well, real dog food.
60% of adults cannot properly digest milk. Why do you think you feel like absolute crap after pizza and ice cream? Arguably life’s most delicious treats. Yet your body screams at you every time you do it. You get an upset stomach, your face is swollen to heck, you have diarrhea and the list of unpleasant side effects continue. You can’t even act surprised anymore when you consume dairy and you feel gross. Your body has been giving you less than subtle hints to stop since about age 8.
Take a hint, guys.
Not to get all dark and depressing on you but dairy is loaded with a ton of calories and insane saturated fat. And what does all that fat do to us? Heart Disease.
[fact] Did you know that in America, the number one killer of adults is heart disease?
That’s not just in writing. It’s a very real thing.
The Calcium Myth
Take how old you are and add hundreds of years. That’s how long people have thought milk is the way to build strong bones! To get your calcium!
Let me simply give you the list of foods with an equal or greater percentage of calcium that don’t leave you feeling like a whale:
Even though that string cheese or Greek yogurt you’re having as a snack is protein packed, it’s still dairy. It still acts the same and is a natural inflammatory in your body.
These days there is a replacement for everything. But will there ever be a replacement for real ice cream, and real cheese? Absolutely not. I still eat those foods. Because they’re bomb and angels sing when you take a bite. But in order to make your overall lifestyle a healthy one, we should consume these products in moderation. And you know that I know that you don’t get enough veggies and fruits. So let’s do less glasses of milk and more greens.
Almond milk, canned coconut milk, and cashew milk are great alternatives for meals and baked good that require milk.
I challenge you for 7 days to stop consuming all dairy products and tell me how you feel, and how much weight you lose.
I dare you!!
As always, don’t be shy. I hope you have a dairy-free day!
all my love,
